Our client is a leader in the manufacture of packaging & bespoke engineered products for a range of end users globally. I am pleased to be supporting the site's growth with introductions into its Engineering & Manufacturing Team & I am looking for a ToolSetter

Change of tooling and complete set up of ancillary equipment to meet production demands when planned.
- Qualified to NVQ LVL 3 or will accept 2 with experience in polymer process or equivalent
- Clear and proven experience in a technical/setting environment
- 3 Years proven experience in setting high speed plastic moulding machines

**_What will your day look like?_**
- Carry out line clearance at end of production in preparation for next tooling.
- Safely remove and refit tooling to presses in accordance to company procedures.
- Carry process adjustments and full set ups.
- Prove tooling and troubleshoot machine and process before handing to production lines.
- Liaise with operational staff to understand tooling related issues.
- Liaise with Quality engineers for product improvement.
- To be flexible in a "breakdown" scenario.

**_Skills needed for the role:_**
- You will maintain safe working practices by adhering to the Health and Safety policies of the company in place at any given time.
- Knowledge of plastics processing and machine setting of Injection moulding machines.
- Capacity to compile setting and fault-finding instructions.
- Experience in challenging existing practices and looking for continuous improvement in all areas of work.
- Work on one's own initiative or as an active member of the team to achieve objectives & communicate with colleagues & peers effectively.
- Respond effectively to changing work demands
- Conscientious and thorough in all aspects of work responsibilities, with a professional approach to work
- logical and methodical approach to problem solving/fault finding issues
