**Personal Assistant/Carer, Accrington area**
This is an amazing and rewarding opening to assist a bright young man in his mid-30’s in his home with a significant physical disability within a calm and peaceful environment and for outings to a broad range of spectacular places of his choice.
The individual is reliant on his wheelchair for his mobility and will need help with all aspects of personal care and will rely on the experience of his carer to provide this, personal aspects include: personal hygiene, toileting, the use of a ceiling track hoist and support with transitioning to places of interests and a few medical appointments.
You should be an enthusiastic, fun, caring, patient individual and be passionate about the job role and it is vital you are a reliable and trustworthy person who will also be expected to provide interesting suggestions for outings.
Must be willing to undertake a DBS check if required at the cost of the Employer and relevant training will be provided as necessary.
