In Shaw Trust Neath, volunteers help us raise vital funds to support people in communities across the UK.

The Volunteer Van Assistant role is a great way to contribute to our charity. You will support your local shop in raising vital funds to help people across the UK to live independently.

By helping our van driver, we will be able to pick-up and move even more generous donations. This helps people to clear out their clutter and it keeps our shelves full. It’s a win-win You’ll also help us to deliver furniture and bulky items to our customers.

**Key Tasks**:

- Assisting our van driver with furniture collections and deliveries
- Safely loading and unloading a wide range of items
- Being respectful and sensitive to donors and donations during difficult situations such as house clearances
- Transferring stock to other Shaw Trust shops
- Assisting with stock rotation to make space for new donations
- Helping donors and supporters

**What we’re asking for**:
