The Infection Prevention and Control Team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Infection Surveillance Lead.

The team work across all sites in East Kent, and this post will not have a defined base, as cross site working is integral to the success of this role. This is a new role, and will require someone with a passion for improving patient care and safety through effective infection surveillance, and who can work collaboratively across care groups, and autonomously lead these programmes, to ensure robust data is collected and reported, ensuring the findings are acted upon to reduce healthcare associated infections.
