**The Opportunity**:
The Business Delivery Platform (BDP) team is responsible for the selection, development and support of all the Purchasing & Cross Process interacting tools (e.g. Buyers, Suppliers, Integration with Engineering Processes). We are currently embarking on a major toolset modernisation programme that will transform the way in which we develop our vehicles, and we are looking for talented individuals who can help us to accelerate this transformation.

We use agile development methodologies as the operating model for our department. In this role you will be joining our Deployment team and will be working closely with your teammates and customers to deliver working capability at pace.

The role of a communication lead is to support the capability, by developing and delivering a communication plan which will define what information needs to be shared (and when) to ensure success.

**WHAT TO EXPECT**
**The Role**:

- Support Delivery Squads in the development and delivery of an effective communications strategy for Squads
- Work with colleagues to develop, collate and identify compelling stories and features and elevate across all channels
- Create and distribute mass communications
- Create videos as and when required
- Distribute Mass Supplier Communications (via various channels)
- Communications Performance Metrics (Poppulo, Post event Surveys)
- Use technical in-house software systems (Poppulo) to manage and maintain content and distribution lists
- SharePoint/Yammer site maintenance
- Process improvement - measure, review, act
- Event logistics support
- Employee, Supplier Conferences
- Team Administration incl. raising POs (Purchase Order)

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**
**Experience Required**:
Essential
- Highly skilled in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrable experience producing communications which are relevant and engaging
- Excellent attention to detail, completing and finishing
- Recognition of and willingness to escalate issues and potential challenges and issues
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability and willingness to become highly skilled in digital communications platforms, eg Poppulo
- Basic Project Management and Planning
- Presenting skills, incl running focus groups
- Ability to identify and write great stories from across the function Commercially astute and used to working in a business environment
- Able to negotiate and influence stakeholders

Desirable
- Have a good level of competence across JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint
- Ability to deliver with urgency
- Ability to work with ambiguity
