**Health and Safety Administrator (Part Time, Term time only)**

Working 27.5 hours per week Monday to Friday for 39 weeks per year, term time only.

**Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine point 24, £14,460 rising to point 27 £15,954, with annual increments based on service and performance related criteria, (This is the prorated equivalent of the full time scale £22,584 to £24,917)**

You will ensure health and safety within the college is of the highest standard and provides a safe environment for students, staff and visitors, including:

- Act as the first point of call First Aider for students and staff whilst on site.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety, through reading of journals, attendance at relevant internal and external meetings and researching specific issues on the internet.
- Work with the Head of Facilities Management and Director of Finance and Operations to ensure that all policies and procedures are drafted and reviewed as required, to take account of changes in best practice and regulatory requirements.
- An IOSH qualification is desirable or the commitment to gain this qualification.
- An experienced First Aider or commitment to gain this qualification.
- Experience in using Excel spreadsheets, Windows & Word.
