As well as the hotel operation, including 26 unique bedrooms and self-catering lodges and dining areas, we also take care of an award-winning events business in our function rooms, so there’s never a dull moment.

**The Role**

This is a full-time position for an experienced bar professional who enjoys variety in their day. As well as taking charge of drinks service in the main hotel bar, you'll be kept busy taking care of guests in our outdoor spaces and in our event rooms. We're looking for someone who can move seamlessly from espresso martinis on the terrace, to checking in hotel guests, to serving hundreds of glasses of Champagne to wedding guests.

Good knowledge of wines, whiskies, gins and cocktails is desirable, as is an enthusiasm to share that knowledge with guests and colleagues. Future training opportunities will be available to help you extend your expertise.

At least two years’ bar experience working in a four/five-star hotel or restaurant setting is essential. If you feel that you are like one of us, we would love to hear from you.

While Rufflets is a 25-minute walk from the centre of St Andrews, it is not on a regular bus route: so please consider your transport options before applying.

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
