Overview: Taking and processing bookings, having good attention to detail and product knowledge of the hotel and bedrooms. Welcoming and checking guests in and out. Undertaking general office duties such as filing, preparing bills and photo-copying. The ability to use hotel software is an advantage. Dealing with queries, problems and providing a prompt and professional service. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organise, multi task and prioritize staying calm under pressure and handle stressful situations. On occasions will have to serve on the bar. Good decision making, judgement and conflict resolution skills. Ability to communicate with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel. Good time keeping and smart in appearance.

**Salary**: £6.83-£9.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blackpool, FY1 4PR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hotel Reception: 1 year (preferred)
- receptionist: 1 year (required)
