Post Office and Convenience Store Supervisor

16 - 24 Hours a week.

Note: The successful applicant will be expected to manage shifts which includes taking responsibility for the post office counter as well as the store whilst on duty. Post Office training can be providing but post office and convenience experience is preferred.

The role will include running shifts scheduled between the hours of 5.30am - 11pm. The store is open from 6am - 11pm, 7 days a week, therefore flexibility is ESSENTIAL as it may mean you are responsible for opening or closing the store.

PLEASE NOTE THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE TWO EVENINGS A WEEK AND WEEKENDS ON A ROTA BASIS. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO WORK THESE HOURS.

Duties will include:
Unlocking the store, setting the store up to trade, serving customers, accepting, checking and working deliveries, stock replenishment, till checks, store presentation, locking the store, operating the post office counter, following security procedures and other supervisory duties as required.

For those aged 18-21 minimum wage applies with a 50p per hour supervisory premium on the same basis.

Pay: From £11.94 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
