**Job Title: Agricultural Mechanic**

**Location: Ashford + mobile where needed**

**Hours: Minimum 40 likely to be 50-55 with on call, hours include Saturday mornings (paid at a higher rate)**

**Salary: £40-60k dependent on hours worked + van + pension + 23 days holiday + BH + funded training and development**

**As an Agricultural Mechanic for this established business, you will be.**
- Working both in a **workshop environment** and out** mobile** responding to emergencies
- Keeping all **fleet vehicles** road worthy, including **cars and LGV**:

- Maintaining **farm contracting equipment** and machinery.
- Completing **welding, fabrication, and machining work** as needed.
- Diagnosing and repairing issues with **hydraulics and electrical systems**.

**The successful Agricultural Mechanic will have/be**:

- An experienced **Agricultural Mechanic/Welder** with a relevant** qualification**:

- **Experience **working in a similar role
- A full clean **driving licence**:

- **Ambitious **, looking to develop further
- Strong **communicatio**n skills
- Able to work quickly **under pressure** with a positive attitude and the ability to independently make sensible decisions as needed
- A genuine team player who enjoys working towards team goals
- **Flexible and reliable **- this role involves working a range of hours including on call - you will be rewarded for this
