**Apprenticeship Job Title: Finance Officer Apprentice**

**How does the Apprenticeship work?**

As an Apprentice, you will be employed, just like anyone else at the company, the difference is that you will be studying towards a qualification.

You’ll spend a minimum of 6 hours a week (of your total working hours) in a number of different Training, Learning & Development Activities that all develop your Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours in line with your Apprenticeship Qualification. These will include (for example) staff meetings, online courses, shadowing other team members, as well as ongoing coaching and mentoring from/with your line manager.

AAT Level 2 and Level 3 (industry recognised Qualifications) are delivered on a modular basis, via fortnightly Tutor led group workshops (live, virtual 6-hour sessions) and bi-monthly exams, taken at a local accredited / approved AAT testing centre (location to be confirmed). You will also complete study, assignments and coursework, and a blend of learning and development activities, all, within the workplace, and will be given ‘Protected Time’ each week to do this - so no homework This will all prepare you for your End Point Assessment (EPA) once you have completed all the learning required. **About the Team**:
CDP’s Finance team is comprised of financial operations, compliance, planning, analysis and reporting. The team works closely with all other areas of the business to ensure CDP’s finances are well managed and utilised both effectively and efficiently.

**About the Role (Brief Overview)**:
Do you have an interest in finance, great technology skills and a passion for developing a career within a global organisation? If so, then CDP has an excellent opportunity for a finance officer apprentice to join the finance team You will be supported in developing a career within finance and accountancy, be provided exposure to a variety of finance processes as well as work with a range of colleagues based in a variety of global locations.

**And Day to Day?. You will be Responsible for**:

- Working within the finance team, you will be involved in:

- Assisting with administrative tasks.
- Providing support with sales /purchase ledger.
- Providing support in dealing with queries from customers, suppliers, and internal staff.
- Supporting managers with improving and maintaining finance system and
- Assisting with financial reporting and analysis work as required.
- Supporting with additional ad-hoc tasks.
- Attending finance team meetings, contribute towards discussion about team goals and improvements.
