Exciting opportunity alert Join our team as a Hydraulic Modelling Lead and play a vital role in delivering clean water network modelling projects. Reporting directly to the Water Network Modelling Manager, you'll lead a team of hydraulic modellers using InfoWater and InfoWorks WS Pro for studies and best practices. Your innovative thinking will drive us towards near-real-time modelling with IWLive, shaping our growth and development strategies. **What you’ll be doing as a Lead Hydraulic Modeller?**
- Develop, manage, and update major modelling activities to fulfil business requirements. Provide specialist advice and solutions to strategic network challenges around growth and development. Drive the evolution of the Network Modelling function and inspire the team to the next level.
- We are building, utilising, and maintaining our centralised water network model library for network planning and projects, optimising existing network assets, and designing and commissioning new capital schemes.
- Hydraulic model building: collection and analysis of network and operational data, assembly into network models, including calibration and verification where needed.
- Maintenance of the hydraulic modelling central library.
- Conversion to and development of WS Pro models, including the live components.
- Carrying out studies using the models.
- Delivering excellent customer service and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder engagement, including operations, strategic control, and asset management.
- This role will be hybrid-based at Clearwater Court or Hampton Coal Wharf, you will be required to work at our offices and sites as the business requires you to.
- 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

**What you should bring to the role**
- To be passionate about hydraulic modelling and excited about the opportunity to advance near-real-time modelling at this scale.
- You’ll ideally be chartered or working toward a chartership in a related field.
- You’ll have demonstrable experience using water network models, with previous experience implementing and using WS Pro network modelling software.
- You will be competent with Microsoft Office and be comfortable supervising consultants and coaching team members.
- Hold a solid understanding of hydraulic modelling principles and be able to use this knowledge to support and mentor your team.
