We are looking for somebody to be responsible for the analysis and design, implementation and execution of technical tests as defined in the test plan under the direction of the test lead or other responsible person. An additional but significant element ofthis role will be one of improving specialist testing skills, technical skills and gaining the commercial experiences vital to optimally achieve customer satisfaction criteria and contractual obligations, supporting account teams (Sector) and clients
This is a remote role with occasional visits to your nearest SopraSteria Office.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Creation and implementation of an automation test framework to automate tests for a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline, using Azure DevOps process implementation.
- To provide rudimentary proven experience to support delivery in specialised areas of testing.
- To produce Test Plans for simple testing requirements, seeking clarification about requirements where required and contribute to overall Test Plans for more sophisticated requirements.
- To develop detailed Test Cases and Test Scripts, including expected results, for simple requirements, in line with the Test Strategy.
- To build test data for simple testing requirements.
- To report progress and issues in a timely manner as defined in the Test Plan and the agreed team organisation.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Solid experience of working as an Automation Test Analyst within solution integration projects
- Demonstrable experience of working within a Scrum/Kanban Team
- Able to articulate and demonstrate a good understanding of:

- Test automation
- Test Automation frameworks (Specflow)
- Continuous Integration (CI) & Continuous Delivery (CD)
- Test Tools (e.g. Selenium, Load Runner/J meter)
- Page Object Model (Automation Framework)
- GIT
- ADO(Azure Devops)
- Proven knowledge and experience of using two or more software engineering tools, techniques, methods, specifically:

- SQL
- MS Excel

**It would also be phenomenal if you had**:

- (ISTQB) Test Analyst Advanced Level Certification
- Advanced Automation Test Engineer (ISTQB)
- Knowledge of the latest developments and future strategy for their technology area
- Experience of:

- Using Gherkin language to write Test Scenarios
- C#
- JavaScript
- Selenium Web Driver
- GIT
- J meter/Load Runner

**Employment Type: Full time, Permanent
Location: UK Wide

**Salary**: £40,000 - £45,000
Clearance: BPSS**
