This is an essential role in providing support to and enabling the delivery of high-quality engineering education to over 9,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students across 10 departments.

Working closely with the Faculty senior leadership team you will advise, assist, and deputise for them in education and student related matters. The role works closely with colleagues across all levels of the College.

You will lead a team that spans our education and education technology activities, who deliver support to all departments in the development and implementation of education strategy and policy matters, and digital technologies.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
You will provide guidance and leadership across a wide range of Education and Student Experience related activities including:

- Developing and implementing new education opportunities
- Developing and delivering appropriate Faculty education policies and procedures, aligned with those at a College level
- Ensuing Faculty and Department management teams have access to clear and appropriate management information on education matters
- Leading and developing a team supporting education delivery

**Essential requirements**:

- You will have extensive experience of education and student matters in the Higher Education Sector and a deep understanding of academic administration.
- You will be able to demonstrate effective staff management skills, motivating and developing a team to acheive their highest potential.
- You will be able to evidence skills in negotiating with staff at all levels as well as external agencies and achieving successful conclusions.
