**Who are we?**

We’re an online betting company launched in 2021 by a group of people who love sport. Our aim is to try our best to take people’s bets whether they be large or small. **What would you do?**
- Recruit and manage our compliance team, running the day-to-day activities of the BresBet compliance office.
- Making sure that compliance is monitored, reviewed and reported on by the team. And for controls to be fully in place so we’re within the UK Gambling Commission rules - including keeping up to date with new regulation as it comes out.
- Making sure our compliance team are dealing with customers in a warm, friendly and understanding way.
- Develop our policies and processes on compliance.
- Train our teams and perform regular compliance checks on dealings with customers.
- Provide compliance support to the teams including customer service, trading, affiliates and marketing as a proactive and approachable expert.
- Take on the role of Anti Money Laundering Reporting Officer with the Gambling Commission.
- Report to the board on all things to do with compliance.

To be our perfect match, you’ll need to:

- Have a passion for compliance and regulatory work.
- Have worked in a senior compliance role within the regulated UK gambling industry for 5+ years (and enjoyed it)
- Be able to put in place and grow a compliance team.
- Be happy working in a small team.
- Have very strong knowledge of applicable UK laws and regulations.
- Have worked on risk assessment and mitigation.
- Be able to provide regulatory reporting.

What can you expect from us?

**Hours of work and location**:This is a full-time role either based in our Sheffield office or remote.

**Salary**: The salary for this role is between £65k-£80k per year. You’ll be offered a salary within this range, depending on your past experience.
