**The Role**:
The Markets Surveillance team at Citi monitors daily transactions across all of Citi's capital markets businesses for indications of potential Market Abuse, Insider Dealing, and other types of fraud. As the internal technology partners supporting this mandatoryregulatory function, we are continuing to deliver more sophisticated algorithms on our strategic internally designed and built platforms. As we further expand global coverage and deliver additional new Behavioral Analytics based solutions, the operationaleffectiveness of our systems is critical to meeting regulatory and business objectives. We are seeking a development / support senior manager to join the team in a newly created role.

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated ability to assess complex issues through root cause analysis and other analytical techniques, structure potential solutions, and drive to resolution with senior stakeholders
- High levels of creativity and a genuine affinity for out-of-the-box problem solving
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills and ability to discuss issues and solution details in both technical and business terms
- A focus on implementing processes, controls, lessons learned, issue prevention techniques, and a determination to design robust and complete solutions
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Meticulous planning and an organized approach to work
- Positive and optimistic outlook
- Strong leadership, with the ability to bring multiple technical teams together, both onsite and remotely, to work towards common goals and resilient systems

**Background/Experience**:

- A FinTech or RegTech career history
- Knowledge of, or a keen interest in, Trade Surveillance or Capital Markets technology systems
- Experience working on technology solutions that leverage Big Data, Data Analytics, and Data Science techniques
