An intriguing career defining opportunity has arisen within a market-leading engineering services business, who have asked the team at NET Recruit, to facilitate their search for a talented Business Development Manager to join their Southampton based team.As a business that provides both engineering products and a service solution line, the company is expanding and propelling its business development and sales function forward, promoting a huge recruitment drive to onboard charismatic and driven individualsto grow the client base and increase the touchpoints for customer engagement.
With a broad range of services offered by the business, this will prove to be an excellent opportunity for a junior technical sales executive to gain excellent exposure and experience within the engineering sector, to become knowledgeable about a large rangeof services and product lines and lay the groundwork for a promising Technical Sales career, supported by a company that will facilitate and aid in growth.
You Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

- Working within the team to generate and initiate opportunities for potential sales
- Liaising with new and existing customers
- Being able to successfully close sales with potential customers
- Effectively communicating the product/service being sold to customers
- Identifying and acting upon new opportunities for business development
- Utilising tools provided by the business to make contact with prospective clientele
- Understanding the product/service line well and taking it upon oneself to further knowledge regarding this as and when required
