**Duties**
- Cut, trim, and prepare meat products for sale or consumption
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure product quality and safety
- Receive and inspect meat products for freshness and quality
- Use various tools and equipment, such as knives, saws, grinders, and slicers, to process meat
- Package and label meat products according to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle meat products safely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
