We have fantastic opportunity for **Supported Living Team Leader **to join our team in Stroud. You will join us on a **full-time contract **in** **return for a competitive salary.
Our Supported Living Service provide support to adults with learning difficulties. mental health and physical disabilities in their own environment. You will work closely with Team Leaders and Registered Manager to ensure that people we support are at the centre of what we do. You will lead and guide our experienced and dedicated team of Support Staff ensuring that quality of care provided is at highest level.

**MAIN FUNCTION OF THE JOB**

The main purpose of the role is to support the manager in the leadership of the teams whilst providing person centred care and support to people we support in their own homes, enabling them to live a fulfilling life.

Our mission is to enable young people we support to reach their full potential and flourish, with their own voice being at the centre of what is provided. The service has been designed to be based on needs, offering choice and inclusivity. Our philosophy is that young people are empowered as much as possible - this will include building upon their strengths. We recognise that each individual in distress is unique and the expert of his or her own experience.

Awareness of and engagement with opportunities within the community will be facilitated, ensuring that young people are better connected and enabled to build a strong identity and to work towards the young person’s desired future.

Specific tasks of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Assist and devise person centred care plans and review progress, liaising with families and professional agencies as necessary.
- Communicate with support workers to provide support, guidance, and information.
- Guide and lead Support Workers to develop and maintain high standards of care.
- Implement staff rotas ensuring that the service is adequately staffed at all times.
- To assist with medication and accurate recording of medication.
- Develop and maintain a professional relationship with people we support and help them to develop necessary life skills and satisfy needs.

**Skills and Experience required**:

- Ideally you will have experience of working and leading a team in a supported living environment however guidance and support from our experienced manager will be provided
- Personal care is required in all our locations so you will have experience providing personal care.
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- Flexibility is required for this role
- You will be required to participate in "On call" on a rota basis
