**Main Purpose of the Job**

To be responsible for providing administrative support to the Purchasing Manager to ensure efficient order generation processes in a timely fashion. To provide a support to the administration team in the absence of the Purchasing Manager and to perform more detailed tasks where necessary, at the Purchasing Managers request.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Generate POs in SAP
- Process courier Import requests.
- Resolve any issues with shipments or orders.
- Process CDS Import entry documents and request amendments for incorrect documents when necessary.
- Process and raise any Purchase Requests in Mfiles.
- Process New Supplier requests into SAP.
- Process CAPAs in Mfiles for NCPs requiring return to the supplier.
- Generate PO monitoring reports and distribute them to the administration team to process.
- Support the Manager in assigning tasks to the administration team.
- Attend weekly operations meetings (In absence/at the request of the Purchasing Manager).
- Other ad-hoc admin duties.

**Key deliverables and performance indicators**
- Accurately completed work.
- Pro active in spotting errors or discrepancies.
- Educated to a least GCSE level or equivalent, with good passes in English and Mathematics.
- Previous experience within a Purchasing Administrator role is essential
- Proficient with MS office
- Knowledge of supply chain management
- High level of accuracy for the database management.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate on all levels.
- Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with other departments.
- Experience/knowledge of SAP would be desirable
- Experience of Mfiles would be desirable

This is a hybrid role, working from site 3 days a week. You will need your own transport to be able to get to our site.
