Job Role

Deliver personalised support plans which focus on improving resilience, participation, achievement, attainment, positive lifestyle choices and improving health and wellbeing.

To deliver phases of interventions from Early Intervention to Structured Treatment Interventions ensuring that all aspects of confidentiality are adhered to and consent to share information is in line with the Caldicott principles which is paramount to build trusting therapeutic alliances.

To ensure that children, young people, and families are engaged with, comprehensively assessed, risk assessed, support planned and suitably reviewed, to address their substance use (or that of someone else’s drug and alcohol use) and other related outcomes from point of entry to posttreatment support.

To work as part of a multi-disciplinary function ensuring referrals and pathways are appropriate to the presenting level of needs and risk and that effective and responsive deployment of resources is in line with customer and service requirements to achieve the best possible outcomes.

To always act as an appropriate role model for children and young people and provide advocacy to them and their parents/carers when required, at relevant agency meetings.
