**Single Point of Contact (SPOC) PARTNER**
**Location: Newport, IOW**
**Salary: £23,419 pro rata **(**£11,700 for 20 hours)**
**Contract Type: Permanent and Part-Time (20 Hours)**
**YOU **is a registered charity that has been providing care, support and advice for over 30 years to vulnerable people, working across Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight to give them the tools and resources they need to live independent, secure and valued lives.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Be the first point of contact for people who wish to engage with the service, you will speak with victims, survivors, their families and other professionals and workers
- Be confident and comfortable when talking to people in crisis and when carrying out initial assessments via the phone
- Understand the impact of violence and abuse on a person and offer a supportive and empathic response
- Be a skilled and able administrator and offer a full clerical and administrative service to the whole team
- Support the manager to gather data to ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators
**The Role**:
- The Paragon Single Point of Contact (SPOC) Partner supports the wider team with the delivery of the commissioned service and may have to carry out allocated tasks such as attending court, co-facilitating groups and supporting
clients to refuge accommodation as directed.
- You will answer enquiries, take down referral information accurately and collate information from referrals and direct assessments.
- You will be able to manage an on-line case management system, inputting accurate information which will inform contractual and stakeholders reporting requirements.
- The post holder will work with others in the SPOC team and the wider integrated team to ensure 24/7 cover of the SPOC.
**About You**:
This role will require a person with skills and experience to be able to support the development and delivery of the IOW commissioned service.
You will be able to work independently to meet the required Key Performance Indicators and be a skilled communicator with a desire to take your practice to the next level.
You will be passionate and confident, and be able to use your skills, knowledge and experience to develop a service that meets national accreditation levels.
You will have an understanding and commitment to a wide range of values that underpin this work including being non-judgemental, person centred, trauma informed and gender responsive and be able to demonstrate these values.
