SourceCo Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading partner to the Laser Systems and Technology industry in their search for a **Field Service Engineer**to join a dedicated and expanding Engineering and Technical team, growing due to continued business success.

As a Field Service Engineer you will need:

- Strong relationship building capabilities
- Excellent communication, teamwork and general engineering skills
- Pro-active and self-motivated attitude
- Enthusiasm for continued learning and development, including undertaking manufacturers training (occasionally internationally)
- Technical understanding of industry sector - Industrial Lasers & Photonics
- Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering background
- Computer literacy & database administration skills
- Clean driving licence & willingness to travel

**Role**:
The duties of a Field Service Engineer include:

- Visiting customer sites (UK & Ireland) to install and service machinery
- Undertaking formal supplier/manufacturer's training (international travel required)
- Reporting activities and updating database

An ideal Field Service Engineer should be comfortable with:

- Communicating with customers professionally on the phone and in person
- Self-management and time prioritisation
- Driving long distances, and occasional overnight stays when required
