Ilford, United Kingdom Barnardo's Full time

Are you an enthusiastic, nurturing, compassionate individual that is passionate about supporting young people with their mental health and well-being? If so, then we have an exciting role for you within our FEPS service (First Episode Psychosis Service) supporting young people across Cardiff and Vale.

FEPS (First Episode Psychosis Service) is part of Headroom, which is an NHS service that supports young people (aged 14-25) that have experienced psychosis for the first time or those that are at risk of developing psychosis.

The aim of FEPS is to provide 1-1 and group-based support for young people to achieve personal, social and occupational development goals which support their recovery from psychosis.

We are looking for a part-time project worker to predominantly support with group based delivery, this will include but not limited to:

- Working with young people and their care co-ordinators to identify goals and aspirations.
- Developing goal-based support plans with young people.
- Responding to safeguarding concerns and working with professionals from other agencies.
- Co-facilitating a minimum of 3 groups per week, groups may consist of cookery, art, walking, team building etc.
- Supporting young people in the following areas:

- Social engagement
- Access to community services
- Engaging in meaningful activities
- Supporting with establishing daily routines

Due to the nature of working with young people some flexibility in working hours will be required.

We are happy to consider and negotiate flexible working arrangements.
- Pay & Reward Framework
- We know that our colleagues go above and beyond in delivering our vital work, driven by their passion and commitment to Barnardo's _values_. We also know that we can only realise our ambitions and achieve better outcomes for more children, thanks to the talent, hard work and creativity of our people._
- For all these reasons, we are committed to a new approach to pay and reward, to ensure it is fair, attractive and progressive, which was rolled out in April 2023. This is a positive change for the charity, and a part of our _People & Culture_ Strategy. It will assist us in supporting colleagues to belong, thrive and grow in their colleague journey at Barnardo's and in time will offer clear routes of progression for colleagues in both their career and their pay._
