**WHAT TO EXPECT**

A central role to Jaguar Land Rover’s electrified future, shaping the forward propulsion control architecture and cross domain development of world class capabilities. Providing leadership within an agile development framework and throughout the product cycle from concept design through to delivered and validated system performance.

As part of Propulsion’s Software chapter group, you will lead the Control System Architecture chapter. In collaboration with specialists in Architecture and Control System Integration, you will be responsible for Jaguar Land Rover’s overall propulsion control system architecture definition for all platforms.

Activity spans advanced off cycle development including academic partnerships and physical technology demonstrators. Process and toolset capability growth is incubated through the chapter in support of architecture development and delivery.

The chapter has centralised responsibility for the control system feature set definition and delivery into the Propulsion Integration group. This is delivered utilising Jaguar Land Rover’s system engineering process and toolchain and supported by the System Engineering chapter.
Close collaboration and process harmonisation with Propulsion’s Powerpack group and across domains including Motion and ADAS will drive architectural compatibility and optimisation.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- Leadership of feature delivery across the Software chapter into Propulsion Integration and associated programmes
- Automotive and x-Industry benchmarking of product, processes and tools
- Book of knowledge maintained for control system architecture
- Upskilling of wider software chapter for high integrity software delivery
- Development of people, process and tool capabilities in support of control system architecture delivery

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

**Essential**:

- Strong experience of complex control system and software delivery
- Demonstrated ability to deliver new capabilities and technology
- Experienced in systems engineering methodologies
- Ability to build strong, valuable relationships at all levels of the business

**Desirable**:

- Excellent knowledge of electrified propulsion systems
- Experienced in delivery throughout entire lifecycle
- Experienced in domain controller development, functional safety and cyber-security requirements
