**The Company**

We are an established facilities services company, based in Tarporley, Cheshire, with a broad and longstanding client base throughout Cheshire, Wirral and North Wales. We provide services including Office cleaning, Security, Grounds maintenance and Building maintenance. Our business currently employs over 50 staff and numerous regular sub-contractors and is well structured, organised and efficient.

**The Role**
- Equipped with a company provided van to be the first respondent for unplanned absences of the facilities team
- Duties will include general handyperson duties e.g. basic painting and decorating, manual lifting etc, cleaning duties and other various duties/numerous odd jobs that arise based upon the organisational requirements. This will be across various locations around Chester, Cheshire West, The Wirral and North Wales.
- Providing backup and feedback to the Operations Manager.
- Attending head office meetings and toolbox talks on a regular basis
- Ensuring the health and safety of colleagues and customers are strictly adhered to

**Key requirements**
- Proactive and flexible approach towards tasks and ability to use a variety of handyman skills
- Adaptable to the workload given as it will vary depending on the organisational need/annual leave or sickness.
- Enthusiastic approach to all tasks to deliver a first class customer service.
- Motivated, responsible, independent, and have strong time management skills
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Basic IT skills to receive and submit work updates (full training provided)
- Full UK driving license
- Location preferably Chester and Surrounding areas

**What we offer**
- Benefits: Company van, company uniform, 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Hours of Work: 39 hours a week minimum. Flexibility throughout the seven day week will be required to meet business and customer needs, including morning/evening/weekend work as required.
- Location: Tarporley based but predominately field-based covering sites in the North West of England, particularly around Chester, Wirral, Cheshire and North Wales although not limited to.
- This is a full-time, permanent position

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
