**What will you be doing?**

Vodafone UK is looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI designer to join the Service team within the Digital Experience Chapter. The team aims to improve the quality of experiences for our existing customers within our digital platforms. The team is looking to drive improvements through the implementation and optimisation of our new MyVodafone platform (existing customer web self-service platform). Therefore, you’ll need to share our passion for using insight driven methodologies to understand how to service our customers effectively.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Work within an Agile multi-disciplinary team to design and deliver user-interface designs and journeys across service digital platforms.
- Work closely with a wide range of people from across the business to understand and interpret requirements, identify opportunities, and communicate design strategy and rationale.
- Strive for consistency and scale in your team’s design through contributing and promoting our Design System process.
- Help define standards to keep the quality of our ways of working high within the service design community.
- Provide mentoring and training to junior members of the team, as and when required.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Have a mix of User Experience and User Interface design skills - under pinned by design thinking and user-centred design principles.
- Possess a passion for all things design, with the ability to articulate the benefits of user centered design through your work and when communicating with business stakeholders.
- A creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative, and Agile environment.
- Passionate about developing strategies derived from insight, with the mastery of your craft to turn these into products (both interactions and visuals) adhering to user-centred design principles.
- You are constantly looking to hone your design instinct through user feedback. Whether through hands-on user research, or by designing options for multi-variant testing.
- Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, Axure, InVision etc).
- Confident in liaising with our technology colleagues to get the most out of our capabilities to deliver effective experiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints when designing to produce a balance between feasible, viable and desirable experiences.
- Proven ability to act as a leader in building relationships with stakeholders from various disciplines and influencing others.
