**Role Profile**

We're looking for a **Senior UI/UX Designer** to take the helm and steer our design endeavours across the portfolio. This role will be critical as we transform the portfolio from a product-centric approach to a solution-driven mindset, supporting customer workflow in an integrated and seamless manner. This is an opportunity for a seasoned individual to join a rapidly evolving business with a market-leading reputation and footprint, to transform the business approach to UX, with rapid ideation and usability as a core central focus.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced designer, who puts the customer journey at the centre, identifying quick wins to bring product sets together for immediate benefit, along with building out a longer-term strategic vision for the usability and design of the portfolio, to ensure scalability and growth. This individual will need to be confident to lead customer journey mapping sessions, create rapid wireframes and mock-ups for validation, as well as build out a clear UX requirements for build. They need to be comfortable to constructively challenge legacy systems, mindsets, and approaches, to bring the product-set into a best-in-class solution-driven portfolio.

This individual needs to be highly collaborative, able to bring product and technology on the journey with them, to ensure strong alignment around enhancing our client experience. A strong understanding of feasibility, and ability to create solutions that can be implemented short-term, as well as support the future direction of our architecture, is critical. They’ll also need to be comfortable understanding a new domain at the right level to support rapid acceleration of the UX experience, leveraging the expertise already within the business. This individual will also need to be comfortable to be customer-facing when needed, helping understand motivations, workflow, and testing of new concepts and ideas with clients.

This is a full-time, permanent role and will report to the Chief Product Officer.

This role is full time based in our modern and centrally located UK - London office close to St Paul’s, Blackfriars, and Farringdon with an excellent and a wide variety of services and transport links situated nearby.

**Key Responsibilities**
- As the Senior UI/UX Designer you'll be both the architect and artisan responsible for conceptualising and crafting our design vision.
- Understand and create user personas, user journeys and site maps across the portfolio
- Translate concepts into wireframes, prototypes and user flows using specialist tools such as Axure, InVision, Marvel, OmniGraffle, Visio and Sketch, as well as the Adobe product suite
- Work collaboratively with the product team, development teams, business analysts, engineers and project managers to ensure end-to-end success
- Liaise regularly with product management and clients to ensure that designs meet their requirements and core business objectives
- Design and run workshops for internal stakeholders and clients to drive stronger journey mapping, client validation and rapid evolution of the portfolio
- Implement, and then ensure design standards, guidelines and best practices are adhered to across the portfolio

**What we are looking for**:
**Essential**
- At least 10 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a B2C SaaS environment
- Demonstrated experience in creating and evolving design systems, ensuring consistency across multiple platforms.
- Proven ability to be strategic and hands-on, ensuring our product design aspirations translate into tangible outcomes.
- Proficiency with key UX tools such as Figma, and a strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with responsive design and working with design systems.
- Proven knowledge of best-in-class UI design and UX practice for B2C, data-driven products.
- Ability to create clear and compelling visual representations of complex data and product requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work, and prior experience in transforming a legacy product-focussed business into a solution-driven approach
- Certification as a UX Professional, demonstrating expertise in the field.
