Exciting opportunity alert A luxury brand that specialises in high-end interiors and furniture is on the hunt for a friendly, confident, and upbeat Showroom Sales Assistant to join their growing team. If you’re passionate about homewares and interiors, this could be your dream job

As the Showroom Sales Assistant, you’ll be based in the brand’s prestigious showroom, ensuring that the shop space is always looking top-notch, and customers are happy with their experience. You’ll need to have a keen interest in high-end design, especially within furniture and interiors, and be happy to help with any business needs that arise.

Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the store is always looking its best, greeting customers and responding to their inquiries, managing online live chat, assisting Sales Consultants with ex-display sales, and processing sales orders and invoices accurately. You’ll also need to understand clients’ needs and issue quotes in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be detail-oriented, highly motivated, and able to manage a busy workload. You’ll also need to have excellent communication skills, be comfortable with numbers, and enjoy working collaboratively with other teams. Experience in the furniture industry or with interior designers would be a plus, as would e-commerce experience.

**Main responsibilities for this Showroom Sales Assistant**:

- Greeting customers and clients in the store to ensure a high level of customer service
- Manage the online live chat and service enquiries in a timely manner
- Contribute to day-to-day customer enquiries including providing quotes ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Supporting the Sales Consultants with the management of ex-display sales and products
- Thoroughly understanding clients’ needs, upwardly servicing wherever possible
- Issuing quotes and keeping on top of these to ensure that they are progressing, tracked accurately, and being won in a helpful manner
- Processing sales orders, purchase orders and invoices accurately
- Ensure the shop is styled well and props are rotated
- Suggest and source fabrics for display items, ensuring Head of Sales sign off and is kept up Manage hospitality and organisation of any shop events
- Working closely with the procurement and delivery team, making sure that any special requirements are communicated and actioned
- Working in a collaborative manner to reach monthly and quarterly targets
- Managing ongoing care of the sales database and its record accuracy

**Key skills required for this Showroom Sales Assistant**:

- Transactional selling experience within a high-end luxury sales would be ideal
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise
- Detailed orientated and highly motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident communicator, happy to help and engage in conversations
- Numerical and confident working with numbers
- Be proactive, reactive and enjoy working closely with other teams
- Socially warm and confident, with a desire to be helpful
- Bright and warm individual, happy to help out and adapt
- A growth mindset, positive attitude and open to change
- Please note that due to the Showroom being open Monday - Saturday, you will be required to work Tuesday - Saturday_. Tuesday - Friday hours are 9am - 6pm and Saturday is 10am - 5pm._
- We have the option to hire for Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm with every 4th Saturday in the shop 10am - 5pm but this is not the preference for this role._
