A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced recruitment professional to join our team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital as a Recruitment Advisor. This talent acquisition post is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional to be at the cutting edge of developments driving recruitment activity across one of the UK’s largest acute Trusts.

We are looking for a confident individual who is able to prioritise a busy workload and support others to do the same. Previous experience of recruitment and/or on-boarding will be essential along with the ability to manage and positively influence key relationships both inside and outside the organisation.

**Overview of Essential Responsibilities**:
1.Attend relevant divisional meetings to identify forthcoming recruitment needs in line with the Divisional Workforce and service development plans.
1. Devise Recruitment Action Plans, planning six to twelve months ahead, utilising a range of advertising media, attendance at conferences/recruitment fairs and other ad-hoc activity.
1. Plan and book advertising campaigns, working with agencies/publications and management team to plan and agree advert content and associated recruitment activity.
1. Prepare job advertisements and any other recruitment promotional/marketing materials required to promote opportunities within the Division in the best possible way.
1. Book attendance at relevant recruitment fairs/conferences, liaising and coordinating across the division regarding appropriate NNUH staff to attend.
1. Provide and promote ideas relating to relevant recruitment advertising opportunities; such as attendance at conferences, recruitment fairs, national publications, etc. based on knowledge and research of the recruitment market.
1. Develop strong working relationships with Departmental Leads, Service Managers and Divisional Triumvirate in order to understand and manage expectations and workload.
1. Work to deliver the best possible return of investment on any capital expenditure relating to advertising and recruitment activity.
1. Represent the Division alongside clinical colleagues at any conferences or job fairs as appropriate.
1. Liaise with colleagues in the Recruitment team to ensure they are able to support the Recruitment Action Plans by placing advertisements when required.
1. Understand and be able to complete the pre
- employment recruitment process (preparation of offers, completion of essential 6 NHS Employers checks and preparation of Unconditional Offer) in order to be able to support the Division when required with the timely completion of offer letters and provision of contractual data.
1. Provide advice and guidance to hiring managers within the Division based upon employment law, Trust Policy and best practice.
1. Influence colleagues within the division regarding recruitment strategies and adoption of best practice approaches to recruitment. Participate, as required, in working groups, presentations and training programmes being prepared to deliver training sessions to line managers within the division.
1. Willingness to participate in other aspects of the recruitment process such as preparation of job descriptions or requests for post authorization as may be required from time to time by the Division.
