We are looking for a bookkeeper to work within our growing company.

- Demonstrable background of working within an accountancy practice.
- Significant experience in day-to-day bookkeeping, preferably to Trial Balance level.
- Experience in other ad hoc services, such as VAT returns, payroll, CIS submissions and self assessment.
- Excellent communication and IT skills.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- A commitment to a long-term career.
- An ability to manage their own workload.
- An understanding that there needs to be flexibility to overtime during our busier periods.
- A full, clean, driving licence, and access to their own vehicle.
- A suitable home office to work in.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Bookkeeping for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Managing payroll and VAT function.
- Organising workflows and keeping track of deadlines.
- Liaising and meeting with clients and dealing with queries.
- General administration within the company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
