This is a Microsoft technology based school and are utilising Azure/MS 365 for both pupils and teachers. The Deputy IT Manager will still remain technical "hands on" whilst mentoring other engineers, assisting in procurement and budgeting. You will supportthe current Network Manager creating IT plans, supervising the team and step in when they are off or on leave.
The Deputy IT Manager will have the following technical experience:

- Windows OS Support
- Azure AD and Office 365 Support / Administration
- Experience supporting MS Team and SharePoint
- Intune or JAMF experience for MDM Solutions
- Networking: HP Aruba and Cisco Switches / VLANs
- School/Education experience would be highly desirable but not essential.
This opening would suit a 2nd/3rd Line Engineer looking to take their first step into leadership
