**About us**:
The Data and Impact team is responsible for assessing the impact of UCL’s Access and Participation Plan activity through research, evaluation, identifying trends, and the preparation of data for internal and external reporting. The team also coordinates and manages the office’s annual £4m+ budget.

**About the role**:
The Senior Data and Impact Officer is responsible for managing the collection, collation and analysis of data related to student access, funding, progression and success areas. The postholder will work closely with the Senior Evaluation Officer and Senior Research Officer to evidence, measure and demonstrate the impact of funding and activity.

This is an internal secondment role, available to current UCL staff only, and will be maternity cover until 24 January 2025 or the return of the substantive postholder, whichever is the earlier.

**About you**:
The successful applicant will have substantial experience of detailed data analysis (qualitative and quantitative) as well as experience of implementing systems to measure and demonstrate the impact of work. They will have experience of producing reports based on understanding and manipulating complex statistical data and the ability to communicate information in a variety of written formats, to high standards of accuracy and clarity. A broad range of research skills and strong information technology skills, with the ability to use statistical packages, are essential requirements of the role.
