As a FOH / General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent guest service and supporting the overall operations of our restaurant. Our Brand:
Flour is a casual dining experience where the vibe of the restaurant is beachy-boho. All our staff should represent our brand with a super friendly, relaxed, and welcoming demeanor. Our team will be the heart of Flour and the way our staff acts towards our customers is a huge part of our brand, therefore we need individuals who will show up with a smile and want to go the extra mile to enhance the dining experience of each customer.

Your job will vary between:
1. front of house welcoming and serving guests;
2. working behind the bar making drinks and helping with food preparations;
3. serving guests at our take away hatch and at the till;
About the FOH / General Assistant role:

- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed
- Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Assist with restocking supplies and inventory management
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Support other team members as needed to ensure overall customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Have a can-do and pro-active attitude and work well as part of a team
- Must be located within 30 mins from Wells-next-the-Sea or willing to relocate

You'll be required to work 3 to 5 days per week including either Saturday or Sunday, bank holidays and school holidays.

Opening hours: 12noon to 9pm - shifts will be 11:30am to 10pm.

Please note we do not offer accommodation.

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour
