**The Vacancy**

**About the role and the team**

As Support Worker, you will join a team of professionals working alongside our clients to build on their independent living skills.

You will manage a small caseload of young people by taking responsibility for their well-being and day to day support in the service. This will involve running group sessions and other key activities within the accommodation to help them progress towards independence.

In addition, you will ensure the accommodation is properly maintained and take an active role in the upkeep of the physical spaces of the accommodation.

**About you**:
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- Experience of using Risk Assessments and Support Planning.
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Experience of operating safeguarding requirements and procedures
- Commitment to working in a manner, which promotes diversity and equality ensuring that everyone is treated with respect and dignity and no one, suffers from discrimination.
