EMPLOYMENT VACANCY
WARDEN
A VACANCY EXISTS FOR A WARDEN AT THE WELFARE GROUNDS, TREGWILYM ROAD, ROGERSTONE, NEWPORT. EMPLOYMENT IS ON A SEASONAL PART TIME BASIS AND PAYMENT IS MONTHLY AT £11.50 PER HOUR WITH TIME & A HALF FOR SATURDAYS WORKED AND DOUBLE TIME ON SUNDAYS.
THE WORK SCHEDULE IS BELOW, ALTERNATIVE DAYS/TIMES CANNOT BE ACCOMODATED.
Duties Include: ▪ Patrolling all areas of the Welfare Grounds. ▪ Supervising the use of the grounds and associated facilities in accordance with the Councils policy. ▪ Litter picking. ▪ Opening/closing of changing & toilet facilities etc.
The Basic Working Hours Are As Follows: Mondays and Tuesdays and alternate Fridays from February (half term school holidays) until the end of October as well as alternate weekends throughout the year. Basic hours worked vary according to the season: Shifts Monday & Tuesdays (February - October) begin at 3.30pm/4.30pm and end at dusk Shifts Friday (February - October) begin at 3pm/4pm and end at dusk Weekend shifts (throughout the year) begin at 1pm and end at dusk
Due to the seasonal variations of the job, there will be a 12-month probational period with interim reviews.
