An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Production Department as a Welder on a permanent basis. The hours per week are 39 hours worked 07.00 to 16.00 Monday to Thursday and 07.00 to 12.00 on a Friday. The salary is up to £12.01 per hour. **Reporting to**:Team Leader

**Job summary**:To build Refuse Collection Vehicles while meeting targets for safety, quality and performance.

**KPI’s**
- Yearly Production Plan including schedule adherence, output, efficiency, Quality, and Health & Safety.
- Performance and Development objectives.

**Scope**
- Key contacts include: Team Leaders, Supervisors, Engineering, Employees within the Production Department, and external contacts including third party providers.

**Responsibilities**
- Complete all manufacturing tasks as assigned by the Team Leader to a high standard.
- Ensure units are produced to standard times and quality targets as per Company KPI.
- Ensure a commitment to quality at all stages of production by self-inspecting of completed units before they move onto the next operation.
- Ability to operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Report any machinery or hand tools that are not fit for use to Team Leader.
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping.
- Report any Health & Safety concerns to Team Leader.
