**Job summary**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Activity Organizer based at Orchard House. Orchard House is an inpatient ward for adults experiencing acute mental health challenges. The role of the Social Activity Organizer is to support patients’ social, mental, and physical well-being through groups and one-to-one sessions, as directed by the ward based Occupational Therapist. The successful applicant will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Consultants, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Psychologists.

The Social Activity Organizer will demonstrate strong communication skills, and bring energy and enthusiasm to their work. They will be aware of a wide range of social, leisure, and vocational activities. They will be creative and adaptable. Knowledge and experience of working with patients who face mental health challenges is essential.
