**The Role of Matchday Designer**
Brentford FC is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing Creative Services team at an ambitious Premier League club. The Club is seeking a Matchday Designer to complement the skills within the business and increase the quality of our output of matchdays.

**Main Accountabilities**
- Take ownership of our match-related content for our big screen, LED and L-wraps at home games (line-ups, fixtures, head-to-heads, etc)
- Create artwork for Conference & Events that are taking place the stadium
- Assist the Football Department as required on design throughout the week at the Training Ground
- Be trained in Tripleplay to be able to amend and edit the screens around the stadium
- Create large format artwork to enhance the style and atmosphere at the stadium
- Working alongside the Content team to produce suitable artwork for their output
- Assist the Box Office in any assets they need for ticket sales
- To produce editorial and commercial assets for both online and off-line materials
- To be involved in ideation and some creation of non-campaign collateral including: social media graphics, website images, programme pages, video animations, stationary, signage & venue branding, event displays, newsletters
- To ensure all executions are consistent & conform to brand guidelines

**Person Specification - Essential Personal Characteristics**:
- Excellence in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign)
- The ability to work as part of a large and small team but also alone on projects when needed
- Excellent communication skills
- Competent in IT with knowledge in Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
- Full knowledge and use of a wide range of social media and how graphics can be used to engage and grow an audience
- Understanding of themes and the news agenda in sport, particularly football
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage workload
- Ability to take feedback onboard in a positive manner
- Appetite to work long and sometimes unsociable hours, particularly weekends, Christmas and other Bank Holidays. (Time off in Lieu is available)
**Person Specification - Desirable Characteristics**:
- Full driving licence with own car
- Mac literate
- Demonstrable skills in after-effects
- Knowledge of Triple Play or stadium display systems
- Knowledge and experience of working with motion graphics
