**About the Job**

We require an experienced "top man" with demonstrable knowledge and experience of working around deep drainage, alongside machine operators and general groundworks gangs. Initially, the post is based in South Yorkshire but may lead to work all around the Yorkshire region with the opportunity to travel. The applicant MUST have a valid CSCS card, be Health & Safety conscious and be able to demonstrate some competence in their role with qualifications or certificates. We welcome all applicants with experience but will also consider those willing to continue to learn and improve themselves.

We are a local, family-run business with a hard-working, professional approach and a number of existing and upcoming projects, including long-term contracts for some of the countries leading housebuilders.

We are focused on providing a safe workplace and take staff welfare seriously. Hours may vary to suit the site conditions, logistics or individual need but a working day would generally start between 7:30 and 8am and finish around 4, enabling our teams to enjoy a good work-life balance.

Training and progression is available; we regularly arrange NVQ's, plant training days and others courses for our multi-skilled team. Basic skills training in areas such as fire safety, first aid and manual handling are provided and you will attend a H&S induction on starting with us.
