**Position Title: Top Man**

**Location**: Rotherham

**Salary**: £20 - £23 per hour

**Project**: A groundworks package in the water sector laying large pipe into the ground.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Utilize expertise in Slinger Signaller duties, ensuring safe and accurate movement of materials using appropriate equipment.
- Provide guidance and direction to the construction crew, ensuring efficient and productive work practices.
- Collaborate with the project manager to plan and execute tasks according to project specifications.
- Manage and maintain equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
- Supervise the performance of the assigned team, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Maintain detailed records of work progress, materials used, and any incidents or accidents on site.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Slinger Signaller CPCS/NPORS ticket.
- Proven experience as a Top Man or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Ability to assemble and lead a team, including a pipe layer, dumper driver, and machine driver.
- Thorough knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
