We are looking for a Data Quality Coordinator to join the Adult Social Care analytical and performance team. The Data Quality Coordinator role is a new role that is essential in supporting teams to capture accurate data so we can effectively support our residents. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who likes working with people and driving improvements that can positively impact peoples lives.
- Implementing data quality standards and procedures
- Monitoring and reporting on data quality scorecards for operational teams
- Working with data analysts and digital services to identify and resolve data quality issues
- Providing training and support on best practice

The Data Quality Coordinator role sits within a large analytical team. It is an exciting time for the council as we are building on our ‘Using Data Better’ programme internally, which will see a step change in the way we use data through working together differently and improving our digital capabilities.

Overall responsibilities
- To lead and monitor the progress of the adult social care data quality improvement project.
- Work with teams to improve both the performance and finance data quality recorded on the case management system.
- Work closely with operational teams to share best practice, educate colleagues on statutory requirements, and monitor data capture processes.
- Ensure that Islington council collects robust, accurate data that complies with statutory requirements for submissions to the Department of Health and Social Care.
- Work closely with the performance team, operational teams, finance colleagues and digital services to improve systems and data capture in adult social care.
- Create and update data quality performance measures to monitor progress and share with teams.
- Support and promote timely recording of data on the Liquidlogic recording system.
- Be responsible to the Intelligence information analyst for the provision of a comprehensive service.
