**The Role**:We are looking to recruit a Non-Ferrous Operative to join our established Non-Ferrous team, based at our Metal Recycling Park in Preston, Lancashire. You will be responsible for Grading, Cropping and sorting different metails.

**What you will be doing**:

- Follow company policy to identify and purchase ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metals
- Sort non-ferrous metals into correct grades as directed by non-ferrous manager
- Deal with customers and members of the public following company guidelines and customer service guidelines
- Ensure stock is sorted and weighed correctly as directed by non-ferrous manager
- To adhere to all Health and Safety procedures
- To keep the area you are working in clean and tidy
- Any other duties as required
- It is desirable that the post holder will have a Forklift Truck license

**Who you are**:

- Experience in Grading different metals
- Enjoy working in a busy team and able to work effectively on your own and as part of a team
- Valid FLT License, advantage but not essential
- Enjoy working outdoors
