**Hours**: This is predominantly a 9am to 5.30pm, 5 days over Monday to Sunday role (minimum of 40 hours per week), you may also be asked to attend events off-site and abroad.

**Job Summary**

Direct cask sales experience essential. As the Cask Custodian you will be responsible for the successful delivery of driving cask sales though the implementation of sales strategies, procedures and correspondence that will facilitate ease of cask purchasing for customers whilst on-site at Annandale and off-site at events. You must actively seek out individuals and promote the sale of privately owned casks, collecting contact information, keeping a timely and rigidly maintained enquiry response system, and keep cask owners’ packs up to date. You must remain aware of and be proactive and reactive to customer backgrounds, needs and market trends.

**Main Duties**:

- Direct cask sales experience essential
- Conduct private cask fillings, cask owners’ tours and associated hospitality.
- Be proactive in seeking conversations with all site guests to Annandale’s Visitor Centre whilst looking to discover a route to discuss the purchasing of casks but equally keeping a line of site to all other sales revenue generators ie White Labelling, distribution, importation etc
- Be aware of promotional opportunities and collect information and pictures that can be used by the marketing department.
- Be proactive in driving, implementing and for the upkeep of cask sale POS on site and at events.
- Maintain a fit-for-purpose data and CRM system.
- Deal with cask enquiries in an efficient and timely manner.
- Be fully knowledgeable in the detailed financial information of cask purchasing.
- Assist with the organisation of, and attend, off-site whisky/beverage events both nationally and internationally alongside the UK Trade Sales Advocate, making sure to focus your attention on the awareness of cask sales.
- Be aware of all HMRC regulations.
- Be proactive in seeking out new cask sales opportunities focused on selling mature stock for bottling.
- Be personally on hand to engage with on site enquiries.
- Be competent in securing cask/Portfolio orders on site.
- Working with the Cask Custodians to ensure all the Tour Team staff have relevant information and Training in our Cask objectives and cask product training.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
