**The Role of the Kit Assistant**

Reporting to the B Team Kit Manager, the Kit Assistant will support with the provision of providing high-quality apparel and equipment on both training and match days to players and coaching staff of both u18 and B Team squads.

**Main Accountabilities**
- Assist with daily provision of B Team training kit and equipment, liaising with the B Team Kit Manger and coaches
- Use the relevant tools to ensure match kits are printed for players and staff match and training kits, in good time
- Ensure training and match equipment is supplied to required specifications e.g. training and match balls are of the correct ball pressure
- Support with laundry of match and training kits alongside others within the team
- Provision of clean and prepared boots for training sessions and matches
- Assist in the packing, preparation, and travel of B Team/u18 fixtures.
- Assist in the packing and preparation of overseas tours with a possibility of travelling alongside the Kit Manager.
- Changing of laundry cleaning products and cylinder for clothing dryers
- Working with others in the team to ensure boot room and laundry areas are kept clean and tidy and organised to a professional standard
- Assist with kit and equipment at matches
- Provide cover or assistance for u18 team training and matches as required
- Carry out administrative tasks related to kit and equipment as required, such as printing of operation sheets
- Ensure a quarterly stock take of academy kit is carried out and reported

- To ensure compliance with all Club and regulatory requirements related to safeguarding, and to ensure the Club’s safeguarding processes are followed in the event of any safeguarding concerns.
- To build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally, maintaining a professional image at all times when representing Brentford FC.
- To keep confidential any information gained regarding the Club and its personnel.
- To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times

A good understanding of training session and match day requirements
Strong attention to detail with proven ability in providing high levels of service to internal stakeholders
Resourceful approach with the ability to troubleshoot in the moment
Ability to work matchdays, including evenings and weekends, to support key events, as required
Ability to use MS Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel) to carry out administrative tasks
Own transport and clean driving license or the ability to fulfil the travel requirements of the role
