The Brand was founded in 1985 by Geraldine Howard & Sue Beechey, therapists that had trained under the renowned aromatherapist Micheline Arcier, who can be traced back to the modern-day founders of aromatherapy. Overview of the role

This position will report to the Head of Education, and will be based in the UK with international travel. Provide complete and comprehensive training to the highest standards in all Aromatherapy Associates treatments and products to new trainers, members of the retail team, as well as spa, retail and third party accounts. Ensure training is structured as per the syllabus, however also applying flexibility and initiative where required without comprising the Company's high standards. To support the development of the spa accounts via regular supervision of professional stock treatment menu market share, therapist development/training and motivation. To develop the retail accounts via regular training, as well as Beauty Advisors training and motivation.

Key Responsibilities

To provide complete and comprehensive training to the highest standards in all Aromatherapy Associates treatments and products to all stakeholders.

Ensure training is delivered as per the syllabus, however also applying flexibility and initiative where required without comprising the Company's high standards.

Ensure training is relevant, sales focused and inspires and motivates the recipient.

To support the development of key and corporate spa accounts via regular supervision of professional stock treatment menu market share, therapist development/training and motivation.

To cover/support onboarding training of new spa business where possible

To develop the retail/spa accounts via regular training, as well as Beauty Advisors training and motivation.

To assist Head of Education in the education of e-commerce partners with training events, conferences and in-person brand immersions.

To assist the Head of Education in fulfilling the companies Education vision.

To participate B2C and B2B events to support sales and support brand awareness/ image in the UK and internationally

Maintain excellent, preferential relationships with all our partners.

Able to travel internationally and have overnight stays up to 80% of the time.

To build collaborative and successful relationships and ensure accounts receive 360 degree sales and training support to achieve target and within Commercial Agreements.

Daily Activities

Deliver classroom and online live training for all channels – Onboarding internal AA staff, ongoing training updates with internal staff (sales team, customer service team) key spa partners as well as retail, third party and distributors

Conduct Aromatherapy Workshops for all channels - key spa partners as well as retail, web, third party web and distributors

Work closely with the Spa and Retail Business Development Managers to develop the spa and retail accounts via regular supervision of professional stock, treatment menu market share, therapist development/training and motivation for key partners and distributors.

Lead by example - motivate & inspire all those you touch, demonstrate superior levels of customer service, communication standards and brand knowledge.

Grooming /Image: Always reflect the brand heritage and lifestyle at all times following brand Grooming guidelines

Collaborate and support the Head of Education and Global Director of Education to develop and update learning programmes and materials.

Create and adapt basic training kits / guides for Business Development Managers of all channels to use for specific skill building of accounts to meet business needs.

Person Specification

Proven experience in luxury spa market

Experience in team training

Beauty Therapy Qualified Level 2 & 3

Understanding of promotional activities

Good communicator with ability to deliver presentations to a high standard

Needs to be self-motivated

Able to build relationships with spa partners

Must be able to travel internationally 80% of the time
