Secondary school in Wigan seeking an English Teacher to start in November and continue in a long term role.
**Your new company**
This secondary school is based in the Wigan area and easily accessible via both the M6 and M58 motorways, or via public transport. The school is an outstanding school and has an excellent reputation locally, as well as having a really supportive English department.
**Your new role**
Joining the school in early November, you will become an integral part of the English department and will be responsible for teaching English to KS4. You will plan and prepare all lessons, deliver these creating a positive learning environment and will alsobe required to complete the marking and assessment. As this is a long term role, you will also be required to attend parents evenings and additional school functions. The role will initially be through till Christmas, however there is the chance that thisrole could continue beyond then.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience teaching English through to KS4. You will be available to start in November and continue through until Christmas, ideally with the ability tocontinue beyond that if required.
**What you'll get in return**
In return, you will be paid a competitive daily rate and will be joining a successful English department where you will be fully supported. You will also be supported by a dedicated Hays Consultant and you will join our Hays Refer a Friend Scheme where youcould be entitled to receiving £250 in high street vouchers.
