**English teacher required on a full-time basis for a secondary school located in Hindley, Wigan.**

This English teaching position is initially being offered on a full-time, temporary basis and is likely to continue until the end of the school year to cover a forecasted staffing gap within the English department.

It is important that the incoming English teacher is able to raise the attainment of their pupils whilst teaching engaging and well thought out English lessons, in line with the schools curriculum. The Headteacher has also highlighted that they would liketo appoint someone who is able to teach English in a positive and engaging manor.

- **Located in the Wigan LEA you will have good access to public transport links making the school accessible to the surrounding areas, Wigan, Leigh and Bolton**:

- **Pupils who have special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported and most make good progress**
