**A bit About the job**

Our Food Beverage Supervisors play a vital role in delivering a great guest experience to all our guests. They have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed our guest expectation. Often operating on the front line, they are the real ambassadors of our company, and are committed to consistently delivering high standards.

A customer facing role means being on show - so smart appearance is important along with a warm welcoming smile as you make our guests feel comfortable and relaxed.
Our people are the key to the Company’s success and our guest’s satisfaction. As well as being confident and approachable, commitment, enthusiasm and energy are essential along with excellent communication skills which will enable you to interact with guests, interpret and act on their needs and liaise with others in your team.

**What we need from you**

Our Food Beverage Supervisors are hardworking individuals who can work on their own initiative and are key players in Food and Beverage teams.

Reporting to the Food Beverages Manager and are responsible for assisting them in the smooth running of the establishment, staff supervision along with ordering and stock control, it is essential you have a friendly yet professional persona and you must have previous experience of working with an establishment of a similar high standard. You will be a strong team player and be able to lead by example to ensure your high standards filter through the front of house team.

This role is ideal for those who have experience of working in customer facing roles within the hospitality sector. Someone with a commitment to helping us to deliver our core standards and provide our guests with a great experience every time.

This position will include shifts working Saturday and/ or Sunday. Additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods including bank holidays.

**Please see a summary of the responsibilities below. This list is not exhaustive**:

- Make sure that all stores, drinks and linen are requisitioned daily to meet business needs.
- Ensure the restaurant is correctly prepared prior to each meal service.
- Check all cleaning schedules are adhered to on a daily basis.
- Make sure that service delivery is consistently achieved in line with agreed departmental and core standards.
- Check that all guest’s charges are passed to Reception for posting.
- Hazards, accidents and maintenance are reported immediately and auctioned as soon as possible.
- Follow security procedures correctly.
- Ensure Fire, Health and safety training has been attended every 6 months.
- Make sure all identified training sessions are attended.
- Be aware of the implications of the weights and Measures, Licensing Laws and Food Hygiene.
- Regulations and ensure all laws are adhered to.
- Make sure that complaints are dealt with in a professional manner.
- Ensure all staff displays a courteous and helpful attitude to all guests.
- Have full awareness of Hotel and Company products. To act in accordance with the hotel and departmental fire procedures.

Manchester Piccadilly Hotel, set in the heart of Cottonopolis, is Manchester’s largest four-star hotel with 338 bedrooms including 18 suites.
