Logistics Administrator (Import/Export)

Dudley

37.5 Hours Per Week. Monday to Friday.

Logistics Administrator required for a well established manufacturer who are growing and unrivalled in their sector. They boast a great and friendly team environment within a company who truly invest in and value their staff.

The role would suit applicants a supply chain, stock control/management or logistics background. Applicants must have experience of stock management both internally and imported. The successful applicant must have excellent verbal and written communicationskills. Applicants who have experience working in a manufacturing environment will have a considerable advantage.

The role will predominantly involve liaising with internal production and warehouse departments to coordinate/track incoming goods and the shipment of products on time, in full. You will monitor daily dales orders against stock and control stock levels sothat product is ordered if it is at a minimum. As part of your role you will raise purchase orders so that orders can be met within lead times. You will track incoming containers and update/record information on due dates. As part of your role you will providesales support to customers and relay information about shipping, customer order tracking and price points.

Logistics Administrator Role:
*Stock control and management - flagging up when stock is low and needs replenished

*Coordinate and track incoming goods and the shipment of goods on time, in full.

*Raising purchase orders and making sure they are signed off

*Liaising with customers regarding shipping information and pricing

*Communicating lead times to customers

*Liaising with internal departments particularly production and warehousing for stock levels/stock control

*Monday to Friday DAYS. Office Based Role

Logistics Administrator:
*Can transfer from a logistics, stock control or supply chain background

*Applicants who have import/export experience will have a considerable advantage

*Experience within a manufacturing environment is beneficial

*Applicants must have experience updating and coordinating databases

*Must have excellent communication skills

*Must be IT literate
